Cuban Cars (2017)

Suspended in time since the U.S. embargo to Cuba (circa 1958), these mostly Americans made cars line the streets of Havana and Santiago. Many of these vehicles are used as taxis and bear the emblem of Ford, Chevrolet, or Buick, among others. Since the trade restriction with the U.S., innovative Island mechanics have kept these cars on the road by cobbling together parts from other engines, many from European and Asian made cars.
